Michael Fernandes

Michael Fernandes is a dedicated attorney serving clients in Plainfield, NJ. He earned his law degree from Seton Hall University’s School of Law and completed his undergraduate studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Michael's legal journey began with a summer internship at the Newark Municipal Prosecutor’s Office, where he gained valuable insights into the legal process.

Following his internship, Michael joined the prestigious law firm of Aiello, Harris as a law clerk. In this role, he conducted research on complex legal issues and contributed to writing persuasive briefs that assisted attorneys in court proceedings. His hard work and dedication led to his hiring as an associate at Aiello, Harris, where he has authored briefs for the Appellate Court and Superior Court of New Jersey.

Michael is committed to defending clients in Municipal Court and advocating for their rights in Worker’s Compensation courts. Growing up in Newark’s Ironbound section, he was immersed in a culturally diverse environment, which enabled him to become fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese.
